Overview
The subject is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the need for succession planning and to learn how to justify, develop and maintain a succession planning and management system. This subject complements Strategic Human Resource Development in that it focuses on the succession system (its justification, development and maintenance) while Strategic Human Resource Development focuses more on the processes involved in a strategic approach to human resource development.
